One of the most interesting new additions to the Pro-Ject 2024 catalogue is certainly the XA B turntable, a device that combines the company's artisan tradition with the most modern technologies.

This belt-drive turntable immediately stands out for its refined design and high-quality materials, in fact the chassis is made of transparent acrylic, an approach that not only improves the aesthetics of the turntable, but also contributes to obtaining extremely clean sound reproduction.

Beneath its elegant exterior, the Pro-Ject XA B boasts a host of technical innovations that make it one of the most advanced turntables in its class, with a die-cast aluminium platter that ensures smooth, stable rotation, complemented by an optimised belt drive system that has been designed to minimise interference and wobble.

A key feature of the XA B is its lightweight yet extremely rigid carbon fibre tonearm, which comes as standard with the Pro-Ject Pick IT Pro Balanced cartridge for precise tracking and low distortion, as well as a Pro-Ject Connect IT Phono 5P/RCA XLR balanced cable, which allows a balanced connection for superior sonic performance.

Despite its high level of technology, Pro-Ject has also designed the XA B with ease of use in mind. The electronic speed control system allows you to easily switch between 33 and 45 rpm, without having to disassemble or manually adjust any components, making using the turntable a smooth experience, suitable even for the less experienced.
