Pro-Ject 6 PerspeX Balanced Transparent Hi-Fi Turntable

The Pro-Ject 6 PerspeX High End turntable stands out for its compatibility with the "True Balanced Connection" signal transmission, for which it incorporates a 5-pin mini XLR balanced connector.

The 6 PerspeX Balanced features a Corian subchassis with magnetic suspension that maximizes isolation from the surrounding environment and thus guarantees the most faithful capture possible of the micro-information contained in the record groove. This is also contributed to by the elaborate construction of the platter, where an acoustically inert MDF sandwich structure minimizes, with the additional help of a thin vinyl layer, possible colorations during the reading process.

The Pro-Ject 6 PerspeX Balanced uses a belt transmission via an AC motor excited by a DC generator, the available speeds are 33 and 45 rpm, both electronically controlled. The rotation system features an inverted ceramic ball bearing to ensure virtually zero friction, while the tonearm, featuring high precision bearing rings (ABEC 7), is the advanced EVO 9 CC, designed and built entirely by Pro-Ject in their own factories.
