The Rotel CD14 MKII plays all your CDs with stunning clarity and detail. The Texas Instruments 32-bit DAC is supported by an independent power supply, as are the servos, which are completely isolated from the audio circuitry, reducing noise and distortion.
The MKII model includes upgrades and innovations, both acoustical and performance-wise, including improvements to the power supply, circuit layout with new isolation techniques, and the use of newly selected audio components, for more accurate and detailed sound reproduction.
The CD14MKII's digital-to-analog conversion is handled by a Texas Instruments Premium Series 32-bit DAC with custom Rotel external analog output filters. The digital and analogue circuits of the DAC section are managed by independent voltage/current power supplies that eliminate unwanted distortion.
The audio output is both analogue RCA and digital coaxial, allowing the CD14MKII to also be used only as a transport mechanism, leaving the digital signal to be managed by an external DAC.
The CD tray loading mechanism has been further refined and made quieter than before. Remote control, front panel buttons, graphic display, RS232, 12V trigger and IR remote input complete the rich equipment of this Rotel CD.
