Louis Poulsen Ph Artichoke Pale Rose Suspended chandelier 60 cm pink

In 1958 Poul Henningsen designed the PH Artichoke lamp for Langelinie Pavilionen, a modernist restaurant in Copenhagen, where the iconic pendant lamp continues to inspire guests. Each of the 72 leaves of the PH Artichoke lamp is carefully hand-fitted to the frame, giving it the distinctive shape that inspired its name while ensuring glare-free light from every angle. The leaves of the original PH Artichoke had a pinkish hue inside that inspired the color of the current PH Artichoke Pale Rose, a pendant lamp that is a stunning style statement.

ONE SHADE CLASSIC

When Poul Henningsen designed the PH Artichoke lamp in 1958, the inside of each leaf had a pale pink hue. In this way the emission of light, which was very intense at the time, was reduced. The new PH Artichoke Pale Rose honors Poul Henningsen's original design with the delicate hue of each of its 72 leaves.

HAND MADE

Each PH Artichoke Pale Rose lamp is created by hand. Each of the 72 leaves is brushed by specialized workers in Vejen and then checked and mounted manually on the frame, to ensure the highest quality.

Lighting system

The pendant lamp illuminates any space with 100% glare-free light thanks to 72 leaves, forming 12 carefully placed rows, each containing six leaves. The fixture ensures light distribution towards the inside and outside, thus diffusing a pleasant and comfortable light.
