Rotel RMB-1587MKII 7 x 155 W multi-channel power amplifier black

The new 7-channel power amplifier RMB-1587MKII from Rotel faithfully follows the circuit design of the new production, where improvements have been recently made both in the circuitry and in the choice of the most performing individual components. Following the internal architecture, it can be seen that Rotel has redesigned some signal tracks and optimized the circuitry of the power supply section. These improvements result in the amplifier achieving ultra-low distortion, high-gain amplification and extremely high signal isolation, delivering multi-channel audio with extreme precision and clarity.

Unlike multi-channel amplifiers that lose power when driving multiple channels at once, the RMB-1587MKII consistently delivers 155 Watts per channel into 8 ohms, up to 250 Watts per channel into 4 ohms, across all 7 channels of Class AB amplification.

To dissipate heat, the RMB-1587MKII is equipped with 4 ultra-quiet, variable-speed thermostatically controlled fans.

The RMB-1587MKII features both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, with automatic switching depending on the input signal, ensuring full compatibility with any AV processor/preamplifier.

Finally The 12V trigger input and output are useful for automating on/off switching with the preamp. For those who want to insert it into a rack, a 19-inch rack mounting kit is available.
