The Rotel A12 MKII is a 60+60W RMS integrated amplifier on 8 ohms, with a high current final stage, which, thanks to a power supply section that features a large toroidal transformer made internally by Rotel, is able to drive even the most demanding speakers.

The revised version of the A12, one of the most popular integrated amplifiers of the Japanese brand, was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the company's activity and brings some improvements to the standard version but above all the inclusion of a Texas Instruments digital-to-analog converter.

The excellent Texas Instruments 384 kHz/32 bit DAC accurately and deeply extracts every detail included in the audio file, to create a rich and realistic reproduction, thanks to optimized circuits that preserve the integrity of the audio flow.

Even if the A12 MKII is a modern integrated amplifier due to the presence of various digital inputs such as the asynchronous USB port for connecting a PC and a high-quality wireless Bluetooth aptX input for accessing liquid content stored on an external device such as a smartphone, tablet, console, etc., however, also winks at the analogue world thanks to the presence of an analogue phono MM input.

At the input level, we should also mention two optical, two coaxial, two powered USB type A ports, one of which is on the front, while as for outputs we should mention a stereo Pre-Out for connecting an external amplifier or for connecting a subwoofer, an RS-232 socket, a 6.35 mm headphone socket.

On the rear of the panel there is also space for four pairs of isolated screw terminals, to connect two separate pairs of speakers.
