Product Details

The VPI Avenger Table was originally a project started by Harry over 12 years ago. In the design process, the project was abandoned mid-production due to excessive demand from HR-X customers who left the chassis design and prototype in mothballs. The good news about the abandoned design is that Harry instead shifted his focus to starting and completing the VPI Classic Turntable.

Shortly after the development of the Prime, the forgotten Avenger and its designs were rediscovered! The working name was the "Tri-Pod Project". Being motivated again, Harry finally got the table that would be his masterpiece up and running! The one-off iterations that were made from the original process were completed as Special Editions.

The VPI Avenger chassis is made of three layers of acrylic/aluminum/acrylic bonded together, with damping material between the layers, held together by 3 insulating steel corner posts, 3 bolts and the massive bearing assembly. The corner posts that support the arms (can hold up to three) have adjustable machined knobs that give the user the ability to easily raise and lower the height to level the table. The fully adjustable arm mounts are made from 5/8" 6061 aluminum for rigidity and grounding. The table can accommodate up to three arms, any brand and length!
