The Rel Tzero MKllI active subwoofer is a real REL, only smaller in size. It is able to enrich small/medium sized environments with deep and natural bass, bringing Rel quality to both hi-fi and home theater.
Compared to the model it replaces (TZero MKII), it uses a new 16cm long-excursion woofer, with an aluminum cone, very rigid but at the same time very fast in transient response, capable of going even lower than the previous one. This is also thanks to the new 100W class D amplifier that uses the latest generation NextGen modules. The connections are always complete, high and low level with the addition of the dedicated LFE home theater channel with separate volume. Its compact size and attractive price make it ideal for small apartments and studios.
Like the other models in the T series, the T-Zero MKIII also uses all the proprietary circuits that have made REL famous: the variable crossover frequency, the high-level Neutrik SpeakonTM inputs, the low-level RCA inputs and the famous .1/LFE input with its separate volume, for maximum flexibility whether inserted into a hi-fi system or a home theater.
Its performance is amazing, if you consider its small size: 24x21x26cm (HxWxD) for a weight of 6.8Kg.
In general, the Tzero project, in its various versions, is in many ways the most ambitious that Rel has ever created, because generating such low frequencies from a subwoofer of such small dimensions is certainly not for everyone. Only a company that has been making subwoofers for years can do this.
The T-Zero MKIII is also ideal for use with computer speakers, small sound systems in small rooms or even in the office.
