Intentionally Beautiful and Intentionally Functional

The XR’s multifaceted cabinet design is not only intentionally beautiful, but also intentionally functional. The geometric profile elegantly distributes the massive load of the powerful woofer housing throughout the interior, providing greater strength and rigidity than traditional rectangular designs. The 2" thick MDF front baffle adds extra rigidity to the cabinet and acts as the backbone needed to withstand the brutal forces of the massive woofer and magnet inside.

Cascade-Fusion Bracing

Cascade-Fusion bracing further increases cabinet rigidity for maximum acoustic accuracy, while also breaking up standing waves internally, resulting in greater accuracy and improved bass clarity.

During initial development, XR woofers were capable of splitting test cabinets at the joints with their sheer force! Cascade-Fusion bracing was the logical solution, adding both strength and beauty to this legendary bass recipe.

Instead, its finned design acts as an efficient heatsink to effortlessly transfer heat from the massive power amplifier, providing effective cooling for years of worry-free operation and stable performance.
