The T/7x is the perfect answer to the real world. It's compact enough (and beautiful enough) to end arguments before they start; while still being powerful enough to easily handle most needs, balanced enough to blend beautifully with many of the quality loudspeakers out there, and still flexible enough to work in specialty applications.

Filtered for Purity - The Nearly Perfect REL
REL's legendary High Level Input connection and fast filters are a significant chapter in the REL story. Connecting via your amplifier's speaker outputs without drawing power may seem magical, but the real magic is in the way the sound takes on a natural character and blends seamlessly with the speakers. Unique tuning and special limiters make the T/7x sound fresher, faster and more dynamic than ever before.
The T/7x is, without reservation, one of the most balanced RELs of all time. To achieve perfect balance, a sub must weigh speed over weight while delivering true depth-extension, and do so in a physically harmonious package. The T/7x makes it all sound easy. Fast and smooth for the perfect blend, it can produce exceptionally deep, tuneful bass that belies its size and plays louder than most people will ever require.
Designed to be better
Many don't realize the intense connection between performance and design here at REL. Performance is everything to us, and it drives physical design solutions. That's why our engineers, recognizing the need for more cabinet volume to achieve the goals of greater smoothness and power, turned to the designer. It works on the dimensions to trick the eye into seeing a smaller, more compact footprint, even as the cabinet volume increases. Using gently rounded corner radii that allow the eye to slide past and see less visual mass. The result is both modern and clean, without unnecessary ornamentation.
Driving Forward - INNOVATIVE ALLOY/FIBER BASS MOTORS
The 8" long-throw active and 10" passive drivers are what make the T/7x incredibly fast and clean. A thorough overhaul of critical suspension components is responsible for the T/7x's agility and flexibility. The T/7x sounds louder and more powerful, as you'd expect, but few would predict that it's also faster, more responsive and transparent than our previous generation, itself a paragon of virtue. Stiffer suspensions, more suited to heavy use, mean not only can each driver track the finest detail, but they can travel further and handle more power.
Proven and reliable amplifiers - The power behind REL
We've retained our signature Class A/B amplifiers used in every generation of T Series since 2006. Reliability is key to happy ownership and with around 200,000 examples of this range leading long and happy lives, T/x Series owners can be assured of REL's reliability as standard. The powerful 200-watt mosfet amplifier used in the T/7x remains an icon of sound and reliability with huge current reserves. Massive power supplies are used and subtle upgrades are found throughout. New mosfet drivers that open up performance and transparency and new methods of protecting the toroidal transformers mean better performance and superior reliability. The best just got better.
Standby mode switch is included on 220V units only.
Zero Compression Wireless - Unlimited Possibilities
At REL, we have developed an impeccable reputation for building the fastest and finest sounding wireless systems available in the industry. REL never relies on digital compression, as it produces thin, lifeless sound. Instead, we have perfected an optional Arrow™ wireless system; so fast and dynamic that we are comfortable encouraging wireless use on one channel of a REL pair, while the other channel can be wired.
