Every component has been developed internally, from the proprietary planar magnet transducers to the high-excursion woofers, up to the sophisticated Phase-Correct LR4 crossover and the refined cabinet designed in collaboration with Studio 63.

Magnetoplanar transducers designed by PS Audio

For the reproduction of medium-high frequencies, PS Audio has developed a sophisticated magnetoplanar architecture internally composed of:

2 x 2.5" magnetoplanar tweeters

1 x 10" magnetoplanar midrange

Both use:

symmetrical push-pull neodymium motors;

double front and rear magnetic structure;

ultra-light Teonex diaphragms.

The low frequency section has been designed to offer impact, speed and precision even in the most demanding installations.

Proprietary Phase-Correct LR4 crossover

One of the distinctive elements of the Aspen FR30 is the Phase-Correct LR4 crossover, developed entirely by PS Audio to guarantee perfect time alignment between all transducers.

Made exclusively with selected audiophile components, it uses:

high quality film capacitors;

air core inductors;

custom components designed specifically for this speaker.

Double-module cabinet designed to eliminate resonances

The Aspen FR30 cabinet was developed with the aim of eliminating any unwanted coloration.

The structure is composed of two independent sections:

sealed module dedicated to the mid-high range;

separate module for the bass section.
