The MB5 B is a unique, slim floorstanding speaker featuring four 5.25" carbon-cone drivers and a sealed ribbon tweeter. The MB5 operates as a 2.5-way speaker, with two 5.25" carbon-cone midrange-woofers supported by two additional carbon-cone drivers for superior bass performance. The two carbon midrange-woofers are connected in series for increased power handling and superior dynamics.

The MB5's cabinet is robust, curved and reinforced with solid carbon fibre.

The speaker's crossover is set to 2600 Hz and the MB5 B reproduces bass down to the deepest notes with a smoothness that will leave you speechless.

Fabric grilles can be supplied as an additional accessory upon request.

The MB Series

MB combines high performance with elegant design.

Cabinet - The internal construction features optimized airflow which, combined with the minimal use of sound-absorbing material, has resulted in very dynamic and linear low-frequency reproduction.

The cabinet with bass reflex port is Optimized for excellent impulse response, resulting in linear, dynamic, and detailed low-frequency reproduction, while making the speaker extremely easy and versatile to position in the room.

Drivers - The woofer and mid-frequency driver have been equipped with a low-loss suspension that significantly improves dynamic capabilities and expands the frequency response in the bass region. A pleasant side effect is a significantly reduced break-in period (approximately 100 hours).

Crossover - The crossovers are designed for a very linear and natural sound, clearly audible throughout the range. The crossover has been engineered to time-align all the drivers at the listening distance.

The result is a speaker that not only delivers a wide and precise soundstage, but also boasts timing that will make you tap your foot to the beat and put a big smile on your face!
