MB2.5 B

The MB2.5 B is a slim floorstanding speaker with two 5.25" carbon cone drivers and a sealed ribbon tweeter. The MB2.5 B is a 2.5-way speaker, with the second woofer contributing to the reproduction of the particularly power-demanding low frequencies. The 2.5 model's cabinet is robust, braced and curved, with carbon fibre inserts.

The MB2.5 B is built on a solid foundation of Nordic design tradition.

It is simple, elegant, refined and visually square when viewed from the front, while taking on a curved, organic shape when viewed from an angle.

The rounded edges of the cabinet reduce diffraction and minimise the sonic impact on the frequency response. Whether your home is modern or classic, the timeless design of the MB2.5 B will will adapt to any environment.

Ribbon Tweeter: speed and micro-detail

One of the main strengths of the MB2.5 B is the sealed Ribbon tweeter.

Compared to traditional dome tweeters, the Ribbon has an extremely low mass which allows it to accelerate and stop much more quickly. The result is an extremely precise transient response, capable of naturally reproducing the upper harmonics, the decay of the instruments and all the micro-information present in the recording.

The extension up to 40 kHz also allows for a very open reproduction, with a wide soundstage and a remarkable feeling of realism when listening.
