Pro-Ject Pre Box RS2 Digital Black Dual Mono Reference Preamplifier with Internal DAC Section

The Pre Box RS2 Digital is a DAC and preamplifier that uses a dual-mono configuration of the highest-end ESS Sabre D/A converters. The ESS9038Q2M chips deliver the highest sound quality in high-end circuitry at an affordable price. Unlike most DACs in this price range, the Pre Box RS2 Digital includes dual DACs and separate signal paths for the left and right channels. Additionally, thanks to these converters, the Pro Box RS2 Digital supports files up to 32-bit/768kHz in PCM and DSD formats (up to DSD512) via USB, covering any digital file you might buy or stream.

The analogue output is a high-quality, solid-state buffer. Therefore, you can choose which of the options is preferred. Pre Box has eight digital filters that you can use to customize the audio to your preferences. Pre Box RS2 Digital comes with full HW and SW support for MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology.
