PRE35 – Modular Preamplifier

The PRE35 modular preamplifier features dual XLR inputs and outputs, fully balanced analog preamp circuitry, and a modular design that allows sophisticated Prisma DAC and network modules to be added to the all-analog preamplifier at any time.

Technology

The balanced modular PRE35 is an exceptional system control center, ensuring unprecedented selection and transmission of any analog input, noise-free and distortion-free, thanks to careful circuit design that takes advantage of the use of a four-layer motherboard to achieve the shortest possible signal path.

In addition to comprehensive input and output options, with both XLR and RCA connections, the PRE35's modular design also allows a sophisticated digital-to-analog converter module, the DM36, as well as a Prisma network player module, the SM35, to be added to the amplifier at any time for customization of the system like never before.

Modular design and system building

We believe it is essential to offer modularity where possible to get the right features, both now and in the future. The modular design is present in the I25 and I35 modular integrated amplifiers, as well as the PRE35 modular preamplifier, all of which are upgradeable with DAC and Prisma modules, as well as the CD35 CD player to which the Prisma module can be added, either at the time of purchase or at a later date. As a result, we are able to offer a carefully considered range of models and configurations to enable selection of the device that best suits any system requirement. For example, a CD35 with the Prisma module installed can be paired with an I35 integrated amplifier, allowing separation of the analogue and digital stages. Or, an I35 with the DAC and Prisma modules installed can be paired with a DD35 CD transport, allowing multi-room and multi-zone playback of every input, both analogue and digital.
