The original design of Poul Henningsen's PH 3/3 pendant lamp is based on his well-known three-shade system (System PH), which dates back to 1926 and is carefully calculated to provide soft and glare-free. Inspired by Poul Henningsen's fascination with light and colour, the PH 3/3 Pale Rose Pendant features stunning pale pink blown glass shades, sandblasted underneath to provide optimal light. Added to this are brushed brass elements such as the lamp holder and the rosette, which over time take on a pleasant patina or can be polished to preserve their appearance. Wherever you choose to hang it, the Rosa Pale PH 3/3 pendant lamp will diffuse a soft and uniform light into the room, while giving it an extraordinary decorative appearance.

REFINED WORKMANSHIP

The PH 3/3 Pale Rose pendant lamp features three splendid blown glass screens, pale pink polished on the top and sandblasted underneath, which diffuse a soft and pleasant light. Each screen is unique and beautiful in its own right, therefore may have variations in color and thickness due to the nature of this handcrafted piece.

CLASSIC DESIGN IN A NEW SHADE

The classic PH 3/3 pendant lamp is designed to hang high, flooding the room with light soft and pleasant. Inspired by Poul Henningsen's interest in color and light, the pale pink color adds an elegant touch to any interior.

Lighting system

The luminaire is based on Poul Henningsen's renowned three-screen system and reflects the light towards down, while emitting a soft light around it. The pale pink blown opaline glass screens are polished in the upper part and sandblasted in opaline white in the lower part, diffusing a delicate and poetic light.

Materials and finish

Materials: Four-layer blown glass of pale pink color with white bottom. Polished on the outside, white sandblasted on the bottom. Brushed and untreated brass with fine lines.

Finish: Pale pink colored glass with white interior. Untreated brass with fine lines.

Information

Please note that the brass is not treated. This means that, if left unpolished, the surface will change over time and develop a patina. Diffuser with satin glass base included to ensure diffused light distribution.

Poul Henningsen (1894- 1967), an extremely influential Danish designer, architect, writer and cultural critic, had an enormous impact on Danish thought and design. His legacy as an original master of light is an integral part of Louis Poulsen's tradition of creating exceptional light.
