Lighting system

The circular illuminating part combines a soft, glare-free diffused light directed downwards and an indirect light reflected from its curved rings on the upper part. A wide-angle reflector surrounds the speaker and reduces contrast around the edge. The rotated top reflector is perfectly curved to distribute the light upwards at a wide angle. The colored external screen surrounds the reflector and creates an internal light reflection, resulting in a pleasant warmer light effect on the outside of the upper and lower reflector. In total it creates four light rings around the central diffuser.

The product has been designed so that it can be completely disassembled and reused. Louis Poulsen is part of ELRETUR which guarantees the reuse of electronic waste (WEEE) in Europe. This product must be treated as electronic waste. The product is packaged in a fabric bag and a cardboard box. Cardboard is made with at least 75% recycled fiber. The additional cardboard material comes from FSC approved sources.

CHRISTIAN FLINDT

Christian Flindt (1972-) holds an MAA and an MDD from the Aarhus School of Architecture obtained in 2002. He then founded his own design studio in 2003. He placed particular emphasis on communication between people and his focus in this area finds expression in particular in his approach to the revaluation of furnishings. He wants his furnishings to inspire people to create new relationships.
