AJ Wall was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu), as part of a concept created exclusively for this hotel. Many of the products designed for the SAS Hotel are considered design icons and in the lighting sector the AJ lamps have achieved worldwide fame. On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the AJ family, Louis Poulsen introduced the outdoor wall version.
