The RPM 10 Carbon uses a new extra heavy chassis that features a special CNC machined MDF plate that incorporates steel pellets coated in hard resin to form an extra heavy and precise sandwich structure. The mass loaded chassis is effectively decoupled from its surface via the included Ground it Carbon and its magnetic feet. With two magnets positioned in the feet, the turntable is virtually floating. The pins in the feet are only used to keep them centred. Thanks to this unique feature, the turntable is perfectly decoupled from the surface it is placed on. In combination with a new special polished aluminium platter with TPE internal damping and a vinyl layer on top, the inverted ceramic main bearing delivers an absolutely stable turntable speed with an extra rumble. low.
