Internet radio, Airplay 2, USB connectivity, and optional internal storage are available. Control the ALTAIR G2.1 intuitively via the proven Lightning DS app or the controls clearly displayed on the high-resolution 4" color display. Unity II Chassis

The ALTAIR G2.1 chassis is designed as a double-casing, where a high-grade aluminum outer casing is complemented by an inner layer of copper. A high-mass foundation and improved four-foot multi-spring suspension system round out the ALTAIR G2.1's Unity Chassis II's quiet, noise-cancelling performance.

CD Playback and Ripping

Still got some love for your old CDs? Don't worry; you can connect a generic USB CD drive to your ALTAIR G1 and choose to play a CD, rip a CD during playback, or just rip.

Like AURALiC's Lightning file streaming, our unique CD playback feature uses the same advanced Memory Playback technology that reduces jitter. The CD data is first read and compared multiple times for accuracy in the system cache before playback. The result is the elimination of potentially transport-induced jitter, negating any negative effects from the quality of your chosen CD drive, potentially improving performance beyond what competing CD players offer.

Dual 72fs Femto Clock - With a dedicated 3uV low-noise power supply to minimize phase noise and keep it as quiet as it is accurate, our 72 Femto Master Clock is incredibly precise for less jitter and pristine sound. Its 72 femtosecond cycles, or 72 quadrillionths of a second, set a new standard for signal timing. Temperature-regulated for consistent performance, this clock is always there to keep things rock-steady.

1GB Memory Cache - Open network connections and data fetching are prone to noise that can damage audio signal quality. The Tesla G2 hardware platform dedicates a full 1GB of RAM to the task of caching, lowering open circuit frequencies and helping your music sound better.

Flexible Filter Mode - Flexible Filter Mode gives you a nuanced level of control over your audio output. Its various modes were developed using a combination of objective data models and subjective testing, with each mode offering a unique set of filters to match the sonic quality of the source. Whether it's modes to tweak in-band ripple, out-of-band attenuation, ultrasonic filtering, and more, you always have the power to dial in the performance you desire.

ORFEO Class A Module - Inspired by classic analog circuit designs, ORFEO is capable of driving a range of loads to match the characteristics of a variety of amplifiers. Using small-signal components with excellent linear qualities, thermally balanced and biased in Class A, ORFEO has the power to drive loads as low as 600 ohms while keeping noise low: open circuit distortion is less than 0.001%.

Smart-IR Control - The Smart-IR remote control allows your AURALiC device to map its functionality to any remote control you want. Simply let the device know which remote you prefer and all its operations (play/pause, volume control, track selection, etc.) can be assigned to buttons just as you like.

Double the Purer Power The Purer-Power linear power supply reduces DC noise by up to 90dB with its power purification module. Using a specially designed transformer and unique wiring that minimises vibration, Purer-Power's noise is kept below 1uV across the audible spectrum, letting you discover every last bit of detail in your music.
