Arcam Solo One Wi-Fi Network Streamer with Integrated Hi-Fi Amplifier

The innovative Arcam Solo Uno network streamer and integrated amplifier is compact and elegant, extremely versatile and finely performing, representing a solution recommended for lovers of digital music.

Exceptionally designed, with a gently curved front and an aluminium housing, half of which is elegantly chromed, the Arcam Solo Uno offers a multitude of interfaces for a wide variety of sources and well-managed connections. The front panel has everything needed to directly control the unit; the power switch is centrally located, above which are three buttons, the outer ones are used to control the volume and the middle one acts as a mute button and for selecting the analogue input. Two LEDs indicate the operating status of the system, one of which is designated as a status indicator and the other as a network link indicator.

Although described as a WiFi HiFi system, the Arcam Solo Uno does not rely exclusively on wireless networks; As an alternative to the built-in WiFi module, an RJ45 Ethernet interface is available. In addition, for optimal reception, the WiFi module has a short rod antenna connection.

The Arcam Solo Uno is equipped with a sophisticated Class D amplification, a 32-bit/192KHz ESS9038K2M Sabre DAC and features an analogue input, a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack equipped to connect a turntable with an external phono preamplifier and an additional subwoofer can be integrated. The subwoofer can be connected to the system via a cinch connector, in order to provide the necessary emphasis, especially in the lower frequency range. If the subwoofer is used, the Arcam Solo Uno wireless HiFi system uses a crossover frequency of 80 Hz.

The Arcam Solo Uno wireless HiFi system really offers the user everything a modern audio streaming system should have; it supports Google Chromecast as well as Apple AirPlay 2 and is therefore ideally equipped for both streaming technologies of the major smartphone platforms. With Google Chromecast support, the Arcam Solo Uno wireless HiFi system can also be integrated into Google Home, allowing for control via Google Assistant. The same goes for Apple AirPlay 2 and therefore Apple HomeKit and Apple Siri as voice control is also possible.

The Arcam Solo Uno is also designated UPnP and Roon Ready and can process MQA encoded content and is even listed as a fully-fledged MQA decoder.

The maximum sampling rate available for streaming sources is 24-bit/192kHz and the power output of the "class-leading super-efficient amplifier design" is 25W per channel into an 8 ohm load and 50W into 4 ohms.

The Arcam Solo Uno Wireless can be controlled via parent company Harman International Industries' MusicLife app, available for Apple iOS and Google Android and based on UPnP.
