The PrimaLuna EVO 200 is an all-tube stereo preamplifier, designed to be the control center of a high-end Hi-Fi system. The philosophy of the Evolution series combines particularly careful craftsmanship with a circuit designed to deliver a natural, dynamic, and nuanced sound while preserving the integrity of the musical message.

The sturdy steel chassis is handcrafted and houses selected components to ensure high performance and long-lasting reliability. The power supply adopts a dual-mono configuration, with separate transformers dedicated to the two channels and two 5AR4 rectifier tubes. This solution promotes better stereo separation, an authoritative and controlled low range, and extended and detailed high-frequency reproduction.

The signal path is created using point-to-point wiring, performed manually with large-section conductors. The tubes are installed on ceramic sockets, while the custom toroidal transformers are sealed to protect them from humidity and ensure long-term operational stability. The internal equipment is completed by selected Nichicon and DuRoch capacitors, chosen to contribute to the transparency and purity of the reproduction.

Volume adjustment is entrusted to the precise ALPS Blue Velvet motorized potentiometer, capable of maintaining a stable and well-focused stereo image even at the lowest listening levels. Source selection is via high-quality sealed relays, which isolate unused inputs and minimize noise and interference. The RCA and XLR connections are mounted on gold-finished panels, confirming the particular attention paid to every construction detail.

Thanks to the Home Theater Bypass input, the PrimaLuna EVO 200 can also be easily inserted into a Home Theater system, allowing you to share the final amplification without sacrificing the quality of stereo listening. The included remote control also allows you to conveniently manage the volume and input selection, offering simple, precise and refined everyday use.
