The MB6 B is Scansonic's flagship loudspeaker. Tall, slender, and elegantly curved, it draws inspiration from the tradition of Danish loudspeaker design. The design centers on the ultra-lightweight, sealed-mass ribbon tweeter, which delivers unparalleled speed, resolution, and transient dynamics. This results in extremely transparent and detailed reproduction of even the finest audio material.

The MB6 B model boasts a powerful configuration of six 5.25” carbon-cone dynamic drivers, arranged in a power-sharing linear array.

The inner pair of drivers covers the midrange frequencies up to the point where the tweeter takes over, while as it moves away from the center, the driver progressively rolls off the lower frequencies.

When reproducing the deepest bass, the line array boasts a greater total membrane surface area than a 12” driver, while retaining the speed and agility of smaller drivers. This gives the MB6 B exceptional performance even when reproducing the deepest bass.

The MB6 B is an incredible musical amplifier, with an impact and authority that will leave you breathless.

Cabinet - The internal construction features optimized airflow which, combined with the minimal use of sound-absorbing material, has resulted in a very dynamic and linear low-frequency reproduction.

The cabinet with bass port The reflex design is optimized for excellent impulse response, resulting in linear, dynamic, and detailed low-frequency reproduction, while making the speaker extremely easy and versatile to position in the room.

Drivers - The woofer and mid-frequency driver have been equipped with a low-loss suspension that significantly improves dynamic capabilities and expands the frequency response in the bass region. A pleasant side effect is the significantly reduced break-in period (approximately 100 hours).

Crossover - The crossovers are designed for a very linear and natural sound, clearly audible throughout the range. The crossover has been engineered to temporally align all the drivers at the listening distance.
