The MB Center B center speaker is a high-performance center channel for an MB home theater system. Like the other speakers in the MB series, the MB Center B is built around the extraordinary MB sealed ribbon tweeter. This allows for dynamic, detailed, and distortion-free treble reproduction.

The main focus, with regard to the center speaker, was on the frequency range in which speech diction is predominant.

The goal was to present the vital area as cleanly and clearly as possible.

The MB-Center is equipped with the same dynamic driver section as the MB-2.5, which gives it a wide dynamic range and unlimited headroom.

MB combines high performance and elegant design.

Cabinet - The internal construction features an optimized airflow which, combined with the minimal use of sound-absorbing material, has allowed for a very dynamic and linear low frequency reproduction.

The cabinet with bass reflex port is optimized for excellent impulse response, which results in a linear, dynamic and detailed low frequency reproduction, while making the positioning of the speaker in the room extremely easy and versatile.

Speakers - The woofer and the mid-frequency driver have been equipped with a low-loss suspension which significantly improves the dynamic capabilities and expands the frequency response in the bass region. A pleasant side effect is the significantly reduced burn-in period (approximately 100 hours).

Crossover - The crossovers are designed for a very linear and natural sound, clearly audible throughout the range. The crossover is engineered to time-align all the drivers at the listening distance.

The result is a speaker that not only delivers a wide and precise soundstage, but also boasts timing that will have you tapping your foot to the beat and putting a big smile on your face!
