COAXIAL MIDRANGE-TWEETER

The new bi-directional midrange/tweeter in the MC170 range is a development of the unit responsible for the ongoing success of Cabasse's Eole coaxial satellite. It offers faithful reproduction of timbres and provides a soundstage with unrivalled realism and depth for both stereo and home cinema use.

HIGH-EXCURSION WOOFER

The specific shape of the 17 cm (6.7 inch) driver unit has been specifically designed by Cabasse for maximum mechanical rigidity and low frequency use, resulting in deeper bass without colouration. The Kapton-mounted voice coil is perfectly ventilated (radiates 360) and its high power handling and acceleration capabilities are exceptional.

HDSE FILTERS

The Cabasse measurement protocol in an anechoic chamber takes into account measurements on the listening axis and 360° around the speaker for perfect control of directivity and global output power, in line with the Cabasse HDSE principle (homogeneous distribution of sound energy). The direct and reflected sounds are homogeneous and the soundstage is wide and stable.
