Gaggenau VG425115: Vario 400 Series gas hob for the chef who loves the flame
The VG425115 belongs to the Gaggenau Vario gas line, designed for those who want direct control of the gas flame. The 38 cm format is integrated into the modular Vario system, where each element has the same standard dimensions and the same stainless steel finish. A hob that reads like a single professional block.

2 burners: optimized configuration
The arrangement of the 2 burners is designed to maximize functionality in 38 cm. The high-quality cast iron burners guarantee a stable and uniform flame, resistant to drafts. Each burner is calibrated for its size, offering the right power for every type of cooking.

Gas supply: compatibility and installation
The VG425115 is designed to operate with 50 mbar liquid gas. The gas conversion kit (where not included) is available as an accessory. Installation must be carried out by a qualified technician in compliance with current regulations. The safety thermostat interrupts the gas supply in the event of accidental extinguishing of the flame.

Cast iron burners: professional durability
The cast iron pan supports and burners of the Vario gas hob are designed to withstand intensive use over time. Cast iron distributes heat evenly across the base of the pan and withstands high temperatures without warping. Cleaning is simple: the grids can be removed and washed separately.

Modular Vario system: create your own custom hob
The VG425115 is part of the Gaggenau Vario system: you can combine it with gas hobs of other sizes, induction, wok or steam modules to create a completely customized hob. All elements have the same height and the same finishes for a consistent and professional visual result.

Depending on the type of installation (freestanding or flush-mounted, with or without lid), the position of the recess and the knob may vary.

If the thickness is greater than 23 mm, refer to the technical drawing regarding the installation of the knobs, (provide a recess in the rear part)

If you combine several appliances from the Vario 400 series, you must use the VA 420 connecting strip between the various appliances. Depending on the type of installation, the corresponding connecting strip must be provided.

The load-bearing capacity and stability, especially in the case of thin worktops, must be supported by suitable substructures. Take into account the weight of the appliance and additional loads.

Additional instructions for flush installation: top:

Installation is possible in stone, synthetic, or solid wood worktops. Thermal resistance and watertightness of the cut edges must be observed. For other materials, please consult the worktop manufacturer.

The groove must be continuous and uniform to ensure correct positioning of the appliance on the gasket. Do not use a discontinuous covering.

The width of the joint may vary due to dimensional tolerances of the combinations and the cutout in the worktop.

If installing multiple appliances in individual niches, allow for a space of at least 50 mm between the niches.

Special nozzles can be ordered separately.

The electrical connection is essential for the operation of the appliance.

Leave a minimum distance of 50 mm. 150 mm between the hob and heat-sensitive surfaces or apply thermal insulation.

If positioned near the VL 414 hob extraction centre, the use of the AA 414 deflector is recommended to ensure maximum performance of the hob.

With a total power consumption of more than 11 kW, local regulations regarding room ventilation, chamber surface area and the combination with exhaust or recirculation hoods must be complied with.

The minimum distance between the hob surface and the combustible material furniture mounted above it is 70 cm.

The minimum distance from any ventilation mentioned above is indicated in the design recommendations for the individual ventilation product.
