Assembly precautions

Depending on the type of installation (free-standing or flush with the top, with or without a lid), the position of the built-in niche and the knob may vary

Always follow the relevant drawings when installing the knobs. If the panel is thicker than 23 mm, provide a gap on the back side.

When combining several appliances from the Vario 400 series, the VA 420 connecting element must be used between the appliances. Depending on the type of installation, the corresponding connecting element must be provided.

The load-bearing capacity and stability, especially in the case of thin worktops, must be supported by suitable substructures. Take the weight of the appliance and additional loads into account.

Additional instructions for flush installation: Installation is possible in stone, synthetic or solid wood worktops. The thermal resistance and watertightness of the cut edges must be observed. For other materials, please consult the worktop manufacturer.

The groove must be continuous and even, so that the appliance sits correctly on the gasket. Do not use a discontinuous covering

The width of the joint may vary due to dimensional tolerances of the combinations and the cutout in the worktop

If installing several appliances in individual niches, allow for a space of at least 50 mm between the niches

Special nozzles can be ordered separately

The electrical connection is essential for the operation of the appliance

With a total absorption greater than 11 kW, local regulations regarding ventilation, room dimensions and combination of extraction or recirculation hoods must be respected

The minimum distance between the hob and the wall unit above it is 70 cm

The minimum distance between the hob and the hood is indicated in the installation instructions for the extraction unit

The appliance is equipped with fixing springs that block the hob after insertion from above
