Power your main L/R channels, in its powerful bridge amplifier mode. Are you upgrading from 5.1 to 7.1? The M6x 250.4/2 gives you 2 channels of powerful bridged amplifier power for that too. Or use all 4 channels when you upgrade your 7.1 system to a fully-featured 11.1 beast.

It's also perfect for anyone who wants to turn their 2-channel HiFi stereo system into a cinematic 5.1 surround experience. The M6x 250.4/2's 4 channels allow you to power your center and surround speakers, as well as your subwoofer.

You can connect your AV preamp/processor with fully balanced RCA or XLR cables. The XLR connection also improves the sound quality and maintains clean signal transmission.

The M6x 250.4/2 will not only please you with its sound quality, but also with its high-quality metalwork and overall clean appearance. The front panel, in black or silver, is a custom-made thin aluminum extrusion.

Connection

The new M6x 250.4/2 offers one gold-plated RCA input and one balanced XLR input per channel. If you have XLR outputs on your preamp, we always recommend using a balanced connection. This type of signal transmission results in increased dynamics, less noise and improved signal-to-noise ratios. If you need the same signal on multiple inputs, for example for bi-amping, you can use the gold-plated RCA loop-through output and distribute the signal to the next input. The gold-plated, isolated speaker output terminals accept 4mm banana plugs, spade connectors or bare wire. The trigger input/output allows you to turn the device on/off via other components.

Power

Our new multi-channel amplifier is modularly constructed with a class A/B amplifier stage per channel. We have designed our amplifier for an extremely natural sound by retaining all the transients and micro information. The super-quiet audiophile power transformer delivers clean power, which results in a high dynamic range and a detailed soundstage. This is an important feature for a home theater amplifier. The M6x 250.4/2 is able to preserve all the details and emotion, regardless of the volume. Thanks to the sophisticated heatsink design, the M6x 250.4/2 does not need a fan to keep the amplifier cool. Despite its great power, you will never hear any fan noise coming from the amplifier.
