The PrimaLuna EVO 300 is a tube power amplifier, designed to offer refined, natural and detailed musical reproduction. The solid steel chassis is crafted and finished by hand through a process that involves five layers of paint, each polished to obtain an elegant and resistant surface. Even the internal structure demonstrates the particular attention paid to every detail: the point-to-point wiring is performed manually using high-quality silver-plated Swiss conductors, so as to keep the signal path as direct and clean as possible.

The EVO 300 uses eight EL34 power tubes, supported by six 12AU7 dedicated to the input and driver stages. This configuration allows for a full-bodied and expressive midrange, particularly realistic vocals, extended but never aggressive high frequencies, and deep, articulated and well-controlled bass.

The Triode/Ultralinear selector allows you to modify the amplifier's behavior even while listening. The Triode mode favors softness, intimacy, and tonal refinement, while the Ultralinear mode ensures greater power, firmer speaker control, and more energetic dynamics. This allows you to adapt the sound output to the characteristics of your system, the musical genre, and personal preferences.

The Adaptive AutoBias™ system constantly monitors the operation of the tubes and automatically adjusts the correct bias. In addition to maintaining stable performance, this technology helps reduce distortion and extend the life of the tubes. The high or low bias switch also allows the use of different families of tubes, including EL34 and KT88, giving enthusiasts the ability to customize the sonic character through tube rolling.

The power supply and output transformers have been developed to ensure high output capacity, a wide frequency response and precise control of the speakers. The transformers are fully encapsulated to limit vibration and interference, while specific protection circuits intervene in the event of sudden tube failure, safeguarding the amplifier's main components.

The SoftStart circuit manages turn-on gradually, reducing electrical and thermal stress on the most delicate components. Ceramic sockets ensure a stable connection of the tubes, while gold-plated WBT terminals guarantee reliable connections and excellent signal transmission to the speakers.

The EVO 300 can be used as a stereo power amplifier or configured in mono mode, thus offering the possibility of further increasing the power and creating an even higher level of amplification system.
