Saving time and efficiency

Power level for pots: with 50% more power, e.g. B. Brings water to the boil faster than the highest power level.

Power level for pans, selectable via the Favourites button/Home Connect app (planned availability in Q4 2024 via software update for Home Connect-connected devices): Heats pans faster than the normal maximum power level, protecting their coating.

The flexible cooking zone automatically connects or separates depending on the size and shape of the cookware used.

PowerTransfer: If you place a pot on a different cooking zone, you can transfer all previous settings to the new zone by confirming once.

Intelligent Flex Zone: Automatic zone selection. When switched on, the hob automatically selects the cooking zone on which a piece of cookware has been placed.

The operation of the flexible cooking zone adapts to the size of the cookware. The settings become the same when you move a pot or pan.

Quick Start function: When switched on, the hob automatically selects the cooking zone on which the pot was placed when it was switched off.

Restart function: If the hob is switched off accidentally, all settings are retained if it is switched on again within 4 seconds.

Kitchen support

11 frying zones: Prevent the plate from burning thanks to automatic temperature control via sensor.

Kitchen assistant: Easily find the right temperature for a specific dish via the Home Connect app.

Connectivity

Home Connect function (WLAN): Check that the hob is switched off even when you are not at home and search for recipes or additional functions in the Home Connect app.

Hob-based hood control (with suitable extractor hood): Automatically activates the extractor hood while cooking, thanks to the WiFi connection between the hob and the suitable extractor hood.

Automatic without sensors: the extractor hood automatically adjusts the power level based on the cooking data provided by the hob (with a suitable extractor hood and a connected Home Connect account).

Smart Home Trigger (available with a connected Home Connect account): use the Favourites button to open the smart universe of your hob and control other Smart Home devices in your family (partner service required).

Updatable device (available with a connected Home Connect account): always keep your device up to date with the latest software.

Safety

2-level residual heat indicator for each cooking zone: shows which cooking zones are still hot or warm.

Child lock: prevents the hob from being switched on accidentally.

Pause function: interrupt cooking, e.g. B. to open the front door.

Main switch: turns off all cooking zones at the same time.

Safety automatic switch-off: for safety reasons, the hob switches off automatically after a preset time without interaction.
