Despite their compact dimensions, the Studio Monitor 4309 speakers, in retro style with speakers derived from professional production, they offer extreme power, dynamics and precision in a classic design, modeled on the JBL 4349 monitor and including the iconic blue deflector.
Smaller in size than to the 4349 model, the JBL 4309 speakers retain the vintage style and features such as ultra-treble level control and the HDI (High-Definition Imaging) horn that provides incredibly powerful dynamics and accurate sound reproduction.
The 25 mm 2410H-2 driver, also derived from the professional JBL D2 series, is equipped with a double annular diaphragm in very low mass Teonex polymer to increase frequency extension, while the "V" shape reduces "break-up" phenomena. The mid-woofer has a diameter of 16.5 cm, with Pure Pulp membrane, 38 mm long-stroke voice coil, flow stabilization and magnetic short-circuit rings.
< p>The crossover filter is made with air-wound inductors, spiral resistors and low ESR (equivalent series resistance) metal film capacitors. 18mm MDF panels are used to build the cabinet. The double front reflex duct has a flared profile to reduce aerodynamic turbulence. On the back there are two pairs of screw terminals for the bi-wire/bi-amp. The available finishes are satin walnut or black walnut, combined with blue or black canvas grilles respectively.
The combination of traditional aesthetics, professional style and acoustic technologies cutting-edge technology, make the JBL 4309 a fantastic audiophile quality speaker.
