Verner Panton created Panthella in collaboration with Louis Poulsen in 1971. Today Panthella is recognized as one of Panton's most significant design icons, with its unmistakable organic shape. The upper part directs the exceptional glare-free light downwards, which in turn is reflected by the trumpet-shaped base. The Panthella 250 Portable lamp is a portable version of the famous Panthella table lamp, with a shade that has a diameter of 250 mm.
Lighting system
The portable lamp has a translucent white opal screen, which provides diffused ambient light, while directing some of the glare-free light downward onto the trumpet-shaped base, designed to reflect some of the light upwards.
