Installation precautions

Can be combined with all Vario 400 Series and 400 Series hobs.

Minimum hob width: 120 cm.

For adequate extraction performance, two motors in recirculation mode must be installed.

In the In compliance with European regulation EU 66/2014, the extraction centre can only be operated in recirculation mode.

For installation, it is necessary to order the accessories suitable for the chosen configuration separately.

Recirculation operation is not recommended in combination with Vario electric grills.

Combination with Vario hobs is only possible without using the latter together with the relevant lids.

Can be combined with hobs with a maximum power of 18 kW.

The telescopic extraction centre must have a dedicated recess hole separate from the hob.

The load-bearing capacity and stability, especially in the case of thin worktops, must be supported by suitable substructures. Take into account the weight of the appliance and additional loads.

A distance of at least 50 mm on the worktop must be guaranteed between the extraction centre and the hob. This space must be supported by a reinforcement structure (see dedicated accessories code AA 409 401/431).

It is possible to place ovens inside the same cabinet where the suction center has also been inserted, depending on the type of installation chosen.

Installation is possible in stone, synthetic or solid wood tops. The thermal resistance and watertightness of the edges of the cut must be respected. For other materials, please consult the worktop manufacturer.

Ensure greater ventilation of the room if the hood is installed in a room with a functioning fireplace.

In Europe, the AL 400 122 model can only be configured for recirculation operation. In this case, the communication of consumption values is not mandatory.

The equivalent length of the duct to ensure good performance is Lmax 19 m.

To obtain optimal performance in air recirculation, we recommend an outlet surface of at least 400 cm² for each motor.
