Installation precautions

Depending on the type of installation (surface-mounted or flush-mounted, with or without a lid), the position of the recess and the knob may vary

Always follow the installation drawings for the knobs. If the panel is thicker than 23 mm, allow for a gap at the back.

If you combine several appliances from the Vario 400 series, you will need to use the VA 420 connecting element between the appliances. Depending on the type of installation, the corresponding connecting element must be provided

The load-bearing capacity and stability, especially in the case of thin worktops, must be supported by suitable substructures. Take into account the weight of the appliance and additional loads

Additional instructions for flush installation: Installation is possible in stone, synthetic or solid wood worktops. Thermal resistance and watertightness of the cut edges must be observed. For other materials, please consult the worktop manufacturer

The groove must be continuous and uniform, so as to ensure correct positioning of the appliance on the gasket. Do not use a discontinuous covering

The width of the joint may vary due to dimensional tolerances of the combinations and the cutout in the worktop

If installing several appliances in individual niches, allow for a space of at least 50 mm between the niches

Special nozzles can be ordered separately

The electrical connection is essential for the operation of the appliance

If positioned near the VL 414 hob extraction centre, it is recommended to use the AA 414 deflector to ensure maximum performance of the hob

With a total absorption greater than 11 kW, local regulations regarding ventilation, room dimensions and combination of extraction or recirculation hoods must be respected

The minimum distance between the hob and the wall unit above it is 70 cm

The minimum distance between the hob and the hood is indicated in the installation instructions for the extraction unit

The appliance is equipped with fixing springs that block the hob after insertion from above
