Designed and engineered in JBL's renowned acoustic engineering center in Northridge, California, the L52 Classic is a 2-way speaker with a 5.25 inch (130mm) woofer that incorporates JBL's advanced acoustic technologies combined with the typical style of the larger Classic models. The L52 Classic's vintage design features a real walnut wood veneer cabinet and a choice of Quadrex foam grilles. Beyond the vintage look and an iconic cabinet, the L52 is a speaker built with cutting-edge acoustic components, capable of offering the legendary JBL sound that is sure to please any music enthusiast.

The L52 Classic arrive on the market as a smaller and less expensive version of the L82 Classic and are characterized by a two-way design that uses a 1.9 cm titanium dome tweeter coupled to an acoustic lens waveguide, while the mid-bass a 13.3 cm woofer takes care of it. The result, according to the technical data sheet, is a sensitivity of 85 dB/2.83 Vm and a frequency response of 47 Hz-24 kHz (-6 dB).

We also find a premium crossover network ( @ 2.8 kHz) which should ensure optimal system performance, while the HF level attenuator on the front panel allows you to tailor the sound to your personal preferences and listening room. Since these are bookshelf speakers, the L52 Classics use a front bass-reflex port, but can also be wall-mounted thanks to a pair of threaded inserts on the rear panel for use with third-party brackets.
