The concentrated light from the source filters through an opalescent diffuser to ensure a soft and comfortable distribution. The soft light creates a comfortable atmosphere in the shade and ensures a delicate lighting effect on the outside, helping to illuminate and define the shape of the article when it is turned on. The aim was to create comfortable and atmospheric lighting in public and private environments. It starts with a flat sheet of aluminium that is worked into the flared-shaped shade. The screen pattern is cut and pressed to form two interactive layers through which the high-precision light is emitted. The 3 mm thickness of the screen ensures the solidity of the device, suitable for applications ranging from children's bedrooms to representative environments.
Lighting system
Suspended device with emission mainly directed downwards. The cut work on the shade creates a very soft play of light and shadow that envelops the entire device and spreads into the surrounding environment. This process allows, at the same time, to lighten the surface in a decorative way and to underline and characterise its profile, whether it is on or off. The light source is surrounded by an opal diffuser that makes the device completely anti-glare, and that allows, despite varying the different types of source, to maintain the same visual comfort and the same light distribution.

LOUISE CAMPBELL
Louise Campbell was born in Copenhagen in 1970. Of a Danish father and an English mother, she grew up and studied in both countries. After graduating from the London College of Furniture in 1992, she returned to Denmark to continue her studies in Industrial Design at the Danish School of Design, graduating in 1995. In 1996 she set up her own studio where she continues to work today. Her interests are primarily in furniture and lighting design, but her studio also undertakes interior design projects.
