Louis Poulsen Cirque pendant lamp 38 cm yellow

The idea was born in the TIVOLI Gardens in Copenhagen. CIRQUE plays on the combination of colours and shapes inspired by hot air balloons, carousels, colours and light. The idea of the bands of colour comes from the effect of colours in circular movements, where colours are often perceived as continuous stripes. The shape is inspired by the well-known onion domes that characterise many buildings in the TIVOLI Gardens.

Lighting system

The luminaire provides soft, glare-free light, directed downwards via the white lacquered internal reflector.

CLARA VON ZWEIGBERGK

Clara von Zweigbergk was born in Stockholm and studied graphic design and illustration at the Beckmans School of Design in Stockholm and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, USA. She worked as a graphic designer at various advertising agencies and design studios in Stockholm, Los Angeles and Milan. He founded the Rivieran Design Studio together with two other colleagues, with whom he collaborated on several successful projects in the fields of fashion, illustration, architecture, furniture and graphics.
