THE PERFECT ANGLE

The Patera, a mathematical work of art, is made up of several cells, each of which is expressly formed by right angles for a characteristic interaction between light and shadow.

Lighting system

The spherical suspension diffuses a glare-free light reflected from the small diamond-shaped cells that make up the luminaire . The structure of the lamp ensures that the light is glare-free above 45 degrees, while allowing the luminaire to emit a downward light, an upward brightness, illuminating the ceiling and lending additional ambiance to the surrounding environment . The design of each cell shapes the light by creating soft transitions between direct and reflected light to emphasize the luminous sphere of the suspension.

This product must be treated as electronic waste. The product is packaged in a fabric bag and a cardboard box. Cardboard is made with at least 75% recycled fiber. The additional cardboard material comes from FSC approved sources.

ØIVIND SLAATTO

Øivind Slaatto (born 1978) is a promising Danish designer, recognized for his simple and poetic solutions. Nature is his greatest source of inspiration. He also tries to transfer characteristics such as rationality, logic and harmony into his designs. Slaatto is a graduate of the Danish School of Design, a qualification he obtained after studying music at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. His passion for music permeates his approach to design.
