Gaggenau CU428100: 51 cm Vario induction module for the custom hob
The CU428100 is a 51 cm induction module designed for the Gaggenau Vario system. It can be combined with gas, wok, steamer, and other induction modules to create a completely customized and aesthetically pleasing hob. The stainless steel finish is the signature of the Vario 400 Series.

2 zones: instant precision and responsiveness
With 2 high-power induction zones, the CU428100 brings the responsiveness of induction directly to the modular hob. You can heat up instantly to the desired level and cool just as quickly. Touch control and 17 power levels guarantee cooking precision beyond any traditional hob.

17 power levels: from simmering to frying
The 17 power levels offer granularity of control that allows you to manage very delicate preparations such as custard or high-power operations such as frying. The boost brings water to the boil in less than two minutes on standard pans. The responsiveness of induction guarantees maximum control at every stage.

Vario system compatibility: unlimited expandability
The CU428100 integrates with all other modules in the Gaggenau Vario line: you can have a gas wok, a steamer, additional induction modules or a grill alongside it. The Vario system is modular by nature: elements can be added or replaced at any time.

Active safety and detection system
The CU428100 detects the presence of suitable cookware before activating the magnetic field, preventing accidental switching on. The child lock function locks all controls. Automatic cooling and automatic switch-off complete the integrated safety system.

Installation precautions

The integrated induction module must be installed under a 12 mm thick Dekton worktop.

The load-bearing capacity and stability must be supported by suitable substructures. Take into account the weight of the appliance and additional loads.

A 10 mm hole must be provided in the center of the cooking zone. Markings must be provided to indicate the cooking zone.

Other cuts in the same slab as the worktop are not permitted.

From the center of the cooking zone to the side edge of the worktop 400 mm.

From the center of the cooking zone to the center of the next cooking zone 450 mm or 550 mm depending on the combination.

Minimum distances from the rear wall of the cabinet and from openings are indicated in the dimensioned drawings.
