Originally introduced in 1939, the PH Luna table lamp was known as ‘The Night Stand Lamp’, a name given to the small table lamp by its designer, Poul Henningsen. The distinctive curved shape of the stem makes the PH Luna unmistakable and the brushed brass finish is a soft and classic complement to the opal glass shades. Originally, the PH Luna was just 230mm high, but in this new limited edition the height has been increased to accommodate the possible applications.. The lamp head can be adjusted by rotating it to suit the lighting requirements.
Lighting system
The table lamp with three glass shades emits a soft diffused light that creates ambient lighting while at the same time casting a direct light downwards onto the surface. The head is adjustable and can rotate laterally.

The shades are made of 3-layer blown opal glass. The lamp holder, shade holder, stem, base and switch are made of untreated brass with fine lines. 2.8 m brown fabric cable. The initials PH are engraved on the edge of the base. The adjustable top of the lamp can be tilted 45 degrees to the right or left by rotating the shade holder and tightening the thumb screw. Please note that untreated brass changes over time and develops a patina.
