The Classic Line
The Classic Line is a range of Hi-Fi components that allow you to create configurations ranging from the simplest to the most audiophile, with multiple amplifiers.
Integrated amplifiers, preamplifiers, stereo and mono power supplies, CD and network players: a complete range for a coherent system.
The A10 CLASSIC is an audiophile integrated amplifier, inspired by the X-i1100, combining ECC81/12AT7 valves and a power of 2x130W in class AB. It offers a wide range of connectors (analog, digital, USB, Bluetooth, HDMI ARC), modern microprocessor control and comprehensive options (subwoofer, Pre-Out, High Bias). A timeless, musical, and high-performance design.
HIGHLIGHT
Audiophile power: 2x130W in class AB
Versatile inputs
Compatibility with home cinema systems
Advanced connectors
The Advance Paris A10 Classic combines a tube preamplification with a transistor power amplifier, bringing together power, versatility, and a wide choice of connections in a single electronics. With 130 W per channel into 8 Ohms and 190 W per channel into 4 Ohms, it offers a solid foundation for a hi-fi system with bookshelf or floorstanding speakers.
Part of the Classic Line range, it takes some design solutions from the X-i1100 and combines them with equipment designed for contemporary home listening. Turntables, CD players, computers, and televisions can all be connected to the same amplifier, simplifying system management.
The front panel features two VU meters, reminiscent of traditional hi-fi aesthetics. A multifunction control allows you to access the settings and adjust the main listening parameters.
Hybrid technology: tubes in the preamplifier, transistors in the power amp
The heart of the A10 Classic is its hybrid circuit. The pre-amplification section uses ECC81/12AT7 valves, while the power amplification is handled by a push-pull class AB stage.
This configuration combines the character of the valve pre-amplification with the driving capacity of the transistor power amplifier, for an engaging reproduction suitable for different musical genres.
The High Bias function, which can be activated from the rear panel, increases the bias of the power amplifier and allows the first watts to work in class A. A particularly interesting solution for listening at moderate levels.
Power and control for your stereo system
The A10 Classic delivers 2 × 130 W into 8 Ohms and reaches 2 × 190 W into 4 Ohms, offering a useful power reserve even in the most dynamic musical passages.
The declared specifications include a frequency response of 10 Hz to 35 kHz, a distortion of less than 0.1% and a signal-to-noise ratio of over 90 dB. Channel separation exceeds 70 dB.
To tailor the listening experience to your preferences, there are bass and treble controls with ±10 dB adjustment, balance, and loudness. Bypass mode allows you to bypass the tone controls.
ESS 9018 DAC and digital connections
The digital section integrates an ESS 9018 DAC and offers three optical inputs, a coaxial S/PDIF input and a USB audio port for connecting a computer.
A second USB-A connection allows playback of MP3 files from compatible media, adding another listening option without the need for a separate source.
For wireless playback, connect the optional X-FTB01 Bluetooth receiver with aptX or X-FTB02 with aptX HD, available separately.
HDMI ARC for listening to your TV too
The presence of two HDMI connections expands the possibilities of the A10 Classic. One is dedicated to the audio of a compatible source, such as a DVD player; the other supports HDMI ARC to receive audio from the TV.
The stereo system can thus also become the audio system for films, programmes and concerts. CEC management is also provided, to be enabled in the configuration menu with compatible devices.
Analog inputs and MM phono
The amplifier has six RCA inputs, including a phono input dedicated to turntables with MM cartridges, and a balanced XLR input.
The phono section offers a selectable capacitance of 100, 200 or 320 pF, with an impedance of 47 kOhm, to adapt the connection to the characteristics of the cartridge used.
The fixed-level Rec Out output allows you to send the signal to an external recorder.
A system that can grow over time
The pre-amplification and power sections are separable: the A10 Classic can therefore also be used as a pre-amplifier or power amplifier, offering greater freedom in configuring the system.
The equipment is completed by the Pre Out output, two mono subwoofer outputs with a 400 Hz low-pass filter and connections for two pairs of speakers, selectable in A, B or A+B modes.
There is also a headphone output and a Trigger Out connection, useful for coordinating the on and off of compatible electronics. The automatic switch-off timer is adjustable from 5 to 90 minutes.
A single amplifier for all your sources
The Advance Paris A10 Classic is a complete solution for those who want to build a stereo system around a single amplifier. The hybrid architecture, the available power and the rich set of inputs allow you to combine analog listening, digital sources and TV audio, with the possibility of expansion over time.
