Synthesis Roma 510AC Signature 80W Integrated Tube Amplifier

Synthesis has spent several years of research and development to bring the new ROMA510AC Signature to the market. The Signature version features an XLR input and an MC/MM phono stage.

We've introduced toroidal transformers into the amplifiers, achieving improved performance. To support this, the design features an oversized shielded power transformer to reduce interference. The MM and MC input stages use a low-noise OPA with a separate regulated power supply and extensive filtering to reduce interference and noise. Using an OPA as a buffer in the output stage gives this unit a very low output impedance with no signal loss.

Created by high-quality sound enthusiasts and for those who love good music, the result is 80 watts of pure pentode power per channel, achieved by a 12AX7 dual triode on the input, a 12BH7 phase-shifter, and a pair of KT88 power tubes in a push-pull configuration for detailed, delicate, and dynamic sound.

FEATURES

DC-Powered Tube Heater - All tubes except the KT88 feature DC-stabilized heater circuits to reduce hum to a nearly inaudible level.

Output Transformer - The output transformer uses a high-quality ferrosilicon for exceptional frequency reproduction and amplitude. Thanks to this newly developed custom output transformer, we are able to achieve extremely delicate and precise sound reproduction, faithful to the original recording.

Power Transformer - Oversized and shielded power transformer to reduce interference.

Mechanical Chassis Structure - The power supply and output transformers are housed in an extremely rigid structure that prevents the unit from experiencing unwanted vibration, further helping to reduce tube noise.

Remote Control - Features a soft-touch button design, perfectly in harmony with the aesthetics of the "ROMA" series. It allows you to control the volume, mute function, and source selection.

Feet - Four aluminum feet with durable rubber insert. These rubber feet were chosen to minimize amplifier vibrations by isolating the amplifier from its surroundings.

Bonding Posts - Professional gold-plated binding posts for a seamless, oxidation-free connection, further enhancing sonic refinement.

Sockets - Gold-plated ceramic sockets for a seamless, oxidation-free connection, further enhancing sonic refinement.

Components - The Roma 510AC Signature's components have been selected with the utmost care. Only the best available components were considered, and all underwent an exhaustive analysis of their sonic impact before final selection.

Selected Tubes - All tubes used are selected after a two-stage heating process. A fully computerized machine controls the process and, at the end, selects the perfect tubes which are then matched to achieve perfect balance.
