The PrimaLuna EVO 100 Integrated is designed to offer warm, natural, and deeply engaging listening. Refined tube design combines with extremely careful craftsmanship, with each component chosen to ensure high performance, reliability, and longevity.

Particular attention has also been paid to headphone listening. Unlike many tube amplifiers that use a separate solid-state circuit, the EVO 100 uses its own tube power section directly. The result is a rich, dynamic, and detailed reproduction, capable of enhancing even high-end headphones from brands such as Sennheiser, HiFiMAN, and Audeze, without requiring the purchase of a dedicated amplifier.

Among the most interesting solutions is the exclusive Adaptive AutoBias system, which automatically monitors and adjusts the correct functioning of the tubes during use. The circuit operates outside the signal path, preserving sonic purity and helping reduce distortion and tube wear. If a tube fails, the device activates the protection and identifies the affected component via a red LED. Replacement is therefore simple and immediate, without the need for complex manual adjustments.

The power supply is entrusted to a toroidal transformer custom-built to PrimaLuna specifications, shielded and immersed in a special resin that helps contain vibrations, resonances, and electromagnetic interference. The output transformers are also custom-designed and internally wound, ensuring balanced and controlled reproduction across the entire frequency range, with deep, precise bass and open, airy high frequencies.

The internal circuitry uses traditional point-to-point wiring, manually installed by specialized technicians. The signal path does not use common printed circuit boards: the connections are made individually using large-diameter conductors, with the aim of best preserving the integrity, transparency and quality of the audio signal.

PrimaLuna has deliberately chosen not to integrate a DAC converter or a phono stage. This approach prevents rapidly evolving digital components from prematurely rendering the amplifier obsolete and allows the user to freely choose external sources and accessories best suited to their system.

The EVO 100 is also designed to use the tubes in controlled and low-stress operating conditions. The use of moderate voltages promotes greater reliability, limits the risk of malfunctions and helps significantly increase the life of the tubes.
