Anthem P2 2-Channel Stereo Power Amplifier

The Statement P2 Stereo Power Amplifier is part of Anthem’s P-Series and is arguably the quietest monoblock amplifier in the industry. It produces 325W per channel into an 8 ohm load and can go up to a whopping 675W into a 2 ohm load, making it a powerful amplifier capable of driving high-powered, impossibly loaded speakers. Each channel of the amplifier features two separate, self-contained power supplies powered by separate transformer windings. This means the amplifiers can deliver stable, continuous power at their maximum capacity, regardless of the number of channels being driven. The foundation of any great reproduction must be an amplifier that can unleash the full potential of your speakers so that everything in the story comes out, whether it’s a song or a special effect in a movie, and that takes power. But power alone is not enough, to this must be added delicacy and this combination is obtained only with truly high-end machines as the P2 can be defined. In fact, under the thick, low-resonance steel chassis lies high-lineage components such as hand-drawn printed circuit boards with thick copper traces, robust and independent power supplies with toroidal power transformers tuned for each amplifier channel, fourteen robust bipolar output devices per channel, custom-designed heat sinks with convection cooling with serrated fins, and much more. This power amplifier also features an advanced internal protection system, in fact if a short circuit occurs on the output, only the line switch will trip because there are no fuses inside to replace.
