S/850, an imposing subwoofer featuring two 30 cm drivers (one active and one passive) and an 850 watt RMS amplifier.

It retains the carbon fiber dust cover and benefits from the same construction scheme as the S/550, with a reinforced cabinet and deeper tuning, ideal for medium and large rooms.

The dynamic behavior is impressive: the bass is solid, extremely fast, capable of following every nuance naturally.

Like its smaller brother, the S/850 can also be configured in a stack and features the new optional wooden grille.

The REL S/850 is a high-end active subwoofer designed to offer uncompromising performance in both music and home theater environments. Equipped with a powerful 850 watt RMS Class D amplifier and a dual driver system in air suspension, it combines a 12" CarbonAlloy front-firing active woofer with a 12" down-firing passive carbon radiator. The cabinet, reinforced and optimized for line array use, integrates technical solutions derived from the Reference series, ensuring an extended frequency response down to 19 Hz and explosive dynamics with exceptional tonal refinement. Compatible with the Airship Direct wireless system, the S/850 is designed for medium to large rooms and high-performance stereo or multi-channel installations.
