Pure signal fidelity thanks to the dual-mono design - The MC1600 is designed without compromise. Each channel operates with its own fully symmetrical amplifier section, made with carefully selected components. Precision resistors, high-quality film capacitors and low-noise operational amplifiers ensure exceptional detail resolution and minimal distortion.

Flexibility and precision - Via precisely detented DIP switches on the underside of the unit, gain, impedance, capacitance and subsonic filter can be individually adjusted for each channel, ideal for a perfect match with any cartridge system.

Versatile connectivity - Thanks to symmetrical XLR connections and classic RCA connectors, the MC1600 easily integrates into any high-end analog setup.

A separate, shielded power supply ensures absolute silence in the signal path.

Fully balanced circuitry with individual and independent two-stage symmetrical amplification for each channel;

Active and passive RIAA equalization circuit of extraordinary accuracy;

Separate and shielded power supply stage to ensure the maximum cleanliness of the audio signal path, preserving its perfect integrity;

Scrupulously selected top quality components, with high precision resistors, audiophile grade film capacitors and ultra-low noise operational amplifiers;

Dip switch banks located under the bottom panel to access a wide range of adjustments of the preamplifier operating parameters;

Variable gain from 32 to 68 dB, individually adjustable for each channel in 10 steps of 4 dB;

Load impedance individually settable for each channel between 20 and 1280 Ohm in over 60 steps, with a fixed value of 47 kOhm dedicated to high-output MM and MC cartridges;

Individually adjustable input capacitance for each channel between 100 pF and 600 pF in 12 steps of 50 pF;

Subsonic filter switchable / switchable with cut-off frequency at 15 Hz, adjustable at 6 dB per octave or at 12 dB per octave;

Frequency response from 10 Hz to 20 kHz with maximum deviations of 0.1 dB;

Total harmonic distortion (THD) less than 0.005%;

Signal-to-noise ratio (S/N Ratio) greater than 100 dBA or greater than 76 dBA depending on the amplification level (based on a 2 Volt signal, with a 100 Ohm load);

Crosstalk 110 dB, independent of the amplification level (based on a 2 Volt signal, with a 100 Ohm load);

Balanced L/R XLR and unbalanced L/R RCA inputs and outputs;
