Synthesis Roma 79DC MM/MC Tube Preamplifier - Black

Synthesis is launching a new tube phono preamplifier, the Roma79DC.

The core of this line stage is two ECC83/12AX7 and one ECC82/12AU7 tubes, powered by a fully regulated multistage power supply.

To support this, the design includes an oversized, shielded power transformer to reduce interference. A series of high-quality metallized phono capacitors controls the audio signal circuitry. The MM input stage uses a low-noise JFET with a separate regulated power supply and extensive filtering to reduce interference and noise. The use of an ECC82/12AU7 tube in the output stage gives this unit a very low output impedance without signal loss.

The Roma79DC offers the possibility of easily selecting the capacitors (MM) and impedances (MC) for the cartridges via a front-facing knob, the value of which is also displayed on the front LCD.
