Overview

The Stellar P3 PowerPlant converts incoming AC power into DC power, similar to a battery, and then, using patented PS Audio technology, regenerates it and produces new, regulated, high-current AC power with a perfect sine waveform. During the regeneration process, all common problems encountered on the mains, such as low voltage, distortion, voltage drops, flat peaks, and noise, are eliminated. The PowerPlant's input voltage is fully protected by state-of-the-art limiting devices, and the output is fully regulated, ensuring that even large voltage swings that would normally damage connected equipment are mitigated through limiting or regulation. With the system powered directly from the Stellar P3's output, the dynamics and openness are breathtaking. The P3 takes your home's noisy, distorted, and unregulated AC power and transforms it into pure, flawless power that dramatically improves sound quality. This is done by reconstructing the AC power, reducing the output impedance, and regulating the voltage. Low output impedance is critical to maintaining dynamic reproduction. Powering equipment through a passive power conditioner only makes the problem worse and should be avoided. The Power Plant, on the other hand, has such a low output impedance (0.008Ω versus a typical 0.4Ω) that even the most demanding amplifiers will have no problem supplying clean AC power.
