The extractor hob with knobs combines guaranteed cooking results and ease of interaction . The ergonomic knobs allow you to control the various cooking and extraction zones in a simple and intuitive way. The set power levels can be easily monitored thanks to the red light indicators. The silicone profile separates the cooking area from that of the controls, avoiding any collisions with pots and pans and facilitating cleaning operations.

UNPLUGGED LINE

NikolaTesla Unplugged is controlled through fixed-set knobs, with touch & analog feel, to access the functions quickly and intuitively. All the elements are integrated in an aesthetic with a strong character, designed to intelligently separate the cooking area from the control area. An elegant anti-shock bulkhead protects the control area from any possible contact with pans and from unpleasant liquid spills.

The knobs with strong features give Nikolatesla Unplugged a character professional, robustness and quality. Their texture with a perfect grip covers an extremely stable internal structure, while the magnetic release of the aesthetic cover makes maintenance operations easy and accurate. Linearity and ease of cleaning of the hob are also guaranteed by the central glass flap, capable of concealing the extraction area and activating it only when necessary.

Thanks to the solution patented by Elica ceramic odor filters are easily removed from above with the help of a practical tape.

The product is supplied complete for installation (in the basic filter version). Inside the packaging there is already everything needed to install the Nikolatesla with ducted outlet up to the plinth, including the exclusive chromed profile that finishes the cut of the plinth necessary for the air outlet.

AUTOCAPTURE

With Autocapture you won't have to worry about adjusting the suction based on the cooking started, but the hood itself will identify the cooking zones and set the power accordingly, taking into consideration the best balance between silence, power and energy efficiency. And when cooking is complete, the system gradually decreases the speed, in order to eliminate vapours, odors and residual humidity. The extractor hob becomes even more functional and practical, for perfect cooking and optimal extraction.

LONG LIFE FILTER ++

Odor filter which by its nature has the ability to regenerate and last up to a maximum of 3 years compared to standard filters which last on average from 3 to 6 months, thus avoiding unnecessary replacements and waste. To maintain these characteristics, the filter must be washed every 2 or 3 months with hot water and a delicate detergent or in the dishwasher at 65° and dried in the oven for 10 minutes at 100°. The advanced technology allows this filter an excellent filtering efficiency (>80 %).

BRIDGE ZONE

When cooking using elongated or large pans, the risk is that the heat is gradually dispersed on their surface, from the center outwards. The Bridge Zone function solves the problem by linking two cooking areas into one larger area. Same power level, uniform and constant temperature for the best performance of your dishes.

MELTING MODE

The Melting function Mode is the ideal solution for delicate preparations, such as melting butter or chocolate, without compromising its sensory characteristics. The temperature is kept very low (below 50°) in order to ensure complete melting of the ingredients without the need to stir continuously and without risking them sticking to the bottom of the pan.

WARMING MODE

The function was designed for slow cooking preparations, it is ideal for heating liquid dishes such as milk and broths, but also creams and sauces, without having to worry about their overheating. Furthermore, with Warming Mode you can keep ready-made food warm while other preparations are still in progress.

SIMMERING MODE

The function allows the food to simmer for prolonged periods, preventing excessive boiling and the accidental leakage of liquids from the pot. At the same time, it avoids the hardening of the dish or possible burns on the bottom of the pot, typical of preparations such as rice, soups and boiled vegetables.

FAST BOILING

This function is perfect for cooking that requires quicker preparation. With a single gesture, the cooking zone is set at maximum speed for 10 minutes, bringing the contents of the pot to the boil 30% faster than a common induction hob on the market.

TASTY FRY

Whether you cook one or more portions, the hob always ensures high quality fried dishes. The powerful induction system allows the oil to reach the ideal temperature for perfect frying (180°) in half the time compared to a traditional hob.
