Peter Büchele

Peter Büchele burst onto the international scene in 1998, following the successful launch of his “Büchele-Basin XL/XS” (X-treme) and the “Good Design Award” from the Chicago Athenaeum in 1998 and 1999.

Since September 1999, X-treme has been mass-produced and distributed by Rapsel Milano, along with objects by many other renowned designers.

As an artist, Peter Büchele has created photographic works, philosophical texts, sculptures, and numerous objects in which the dialogue between material and design plays an essential role.

As a craftsman, he has been collaborating with architects, designers, and artists on various projects since 1990, providing technical know-how and advice.
